LFN Governing Board Committer Representative

  • The email was mistakenly forwarded to the mailing list

  • The eligible voters would have received an email from Casey

LFN Mentorship Program

  • LF has decided to use Community Bridge for its mentorship program.

  • Topic proposals should be in by Feb 28 - worst case by March 6.

  • ODL TSC needs to approve proposals by March 13.

  • ONES Booth Demo Proposals (Google Form) 26th.

    • Submissions encouraged - at least one.

  • Developer & Testing Forum Topic Proposals (June 1-4th)

    • COVID-19 reassessment in mid-march

IT infra troubles, CSIT jobs aborting

  • Infra had problem bringing up stacks - resolved. However some new problems today.

  • @Anil Shashikumar Belur working with the cloud provider 

 

Magnesium Release

  • Two progress blockers for code freeze @Anil Shashikumar Belurwill take care of these issues so we can pick a RC

    • Version bump failing.

      • Only JDK 11 supported for Magnesium

    • IT infra issues / CSIT jobs aborting

  • Robert's OpenFlow Plugin patch has not been reviewed for a few months - need OFP project to look into this.

  • Self managed projects - currently only Transport PCE. Probably convince the project to join as managed project?

  • BGPCEP wants these patches in Magnesium.. Waiting on reviews to be able to proceed

    • 87011: Propagate SR SID info from BGP-LS routes in RIB to link-state topology

      • Few +1's and CSIT passed. Ready to be reviewed/merged (@Robert Varga )

    • 87454: YANG revision dates mass-update

      • Few +1's. (@Guillaume Lambert - has CSIT been run, if not you can trigger it by replying with "test-bgpcep-bgp"). Ready to be reviewed/merged (Robert)

    • 86954: Graph modelisation for Path Computation Algorithm

      • Change is finished, partially reviewed, with some pending comments (@Olivier Dugeon , @Robert Varga - can you please discuss further on next steps)

    • 87546: Path Computation Algorithms

      • Change is finished, partially reviewed, depends on patch 86954

    • 87712: Path Computation Server

      • Change is finished, partially reviewed, depends on patch 87546

 

Release Schedule for Silicon

  • Rest of the folks feel cutting down SRs is a good idea.

  • @Robert Varga feels the need to at least have a subset of projects to have more frequent SRs
