Infra

  • LF is considering retiring the ask.opendaylight.org website

    • LF is requesting feedback from the community if this site is still needed.

    • TSC thinks it will be a good idea to wait for a month before decommissioning it - target Jun 1, 2020 

  • @Abhijit K asks if we can build out the Confluence Questions part of the wiki to help replace the ask.opendaylight.org page.

    • Casey can look into Confluence questions

Mailing Lists

  • PTLs need to update their project facts with the correct mailing list (kernel-dev, app-dev).

    • They may also indicate a #hashtag of their project name

    • Hashtags may be filtered in Groups.io so you can mute conversations that you're not interested in.

  • Casey will create a wiki page to highlight which mailing lists are mapped to where.

Release

  • Aluminum is right on schedule and version bump checkpoint still scheduled forApr 27, 2020 

  • Magnesium SR1 Release Checklist is ready and code freeze will be announced on Apr 20, 2020 

Events

  • Technical Meetings happening next week

    • Registration

    • OpenDaylight TSC Meeting canceled for Apr 23, 2020so that ODL community members can attend any cross community discussions or even other project meetings.

  • There are some cross-community discussions

    • Casey wants to know if we should cancel the technical meetings next week so that community members may attend the meetings

    • Meetings are starting from: Apr 21, 2020 - Apr 23, 2020 

      • Starting: 11:00 UTC / 04:00 PST

      • Ending: 15:30 UTC / 08:30 PST

  • June Developer & Testing Forum Virtual event (ODL DDF) 

NETCONF PTL

  • @Balaji Varadarajuhas left Lumina.  We need to look for a new PTL for NETCONF

@Casey Cain to look into Confluence Questions and update the TSC on Apr 30, 2020 
@Casey Cain to create mapping page for the mailing lists under Projects Apr 30, 2020 
PTLs to update their wiki page with the project facts template to include the mailing list.
@Abhijit K to initiate an email discussion for feedback on how the mailing lists mapping is working out and whether we need to change slightly (move active protocols from app-dev).  Apr 21, 2020
