Information on Magnesium Release & Marketing Request

• Asking each PTL to provide baseline information on what is changed and why it matters.

  • Information for Magnesium should be filled out here: Magnesium Release

  • An example from the Sodium Release: Sodium Release

• We can then start to build a shared messaging page or document.

• Planning Blog post with @Abhijit K

• @Brandon Wick encourages all partners to do blog posts and noted that LF would like to do co-marketing with the organizations.

• Last issue blocking release Magnesium is https://lf-opendaylight.atlassian.net/browse/BGPCEP-898 

  • @Robert Vargaproposes this https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/c/bgpcep/+/88412 as a fix.

  • @JamO Luhrsenand @Olivier Dugeon are testing

Aluminum 

• Release schedule has been posted at https://docs.opendaylight.org/en/latest/release-process/release-schedule.html

• Initial checkpoint will happen in the week of Mar 30, 2020 

OpenDaylight DDF

• Virtual LFN Technical Meeting April 22-23 we are not planning for the LFN Developer & Testing Forum - June 1-4 yet.

  • We will decide what we are doing with the Developer and Testing Forum on Mar 25, 2020 

  • It will no longer be held in Korea.  We are looking for alternate venues right now.

• ODL does not have any directly related topics proposed for the LFN Technical Meetings

  • There may be some topics of interest though

  • @Casey Cain wants to know if anyone wants to participate in the Virtual LFN Technical Meetings or the Planning Committee

  • LFN will be taking lessons learned during the planning and apply that to the Developer & Forum event if it goes virtual.

2020 Mentorship Projects

• Projects must be submitted and approved by tomorrow: Mar 13, 2020 

• Please ping the TSC and @Casey Cain if you submit a Mentorship project so that the TSC can vote and approve it.
