Agenda

  • Start the Recording
  • We will start by mentioning the project's Antitrust Policy, which you can find linked from the LF and project websites. The policy is important where multiple companies, including potential industry competitors, are participating in meetings. Please review and if you have any questions, please contact your company legal counsel. Members of the LF may contact Andrew Updegrove at the firm Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the LF.

General Topic

  • Anil Shashikumar Belur Anil provided an update on the status of the pipelines work.
    •  The pipeline is based on a template completed by GitHub and intended to work on Jenkins  + Gerrit.
    •   A meeting with Mário Doman (Pantheon) is planned every Wednesday. Call for contributors.
    • Manoj Chokka recommends that for the long-term Git vision, we may want to migrate to GitHub
  • There was a discussion about removing branch lock.
    • There seemed to be a general agreement that locking the branches with the size of the community was no longer needed.
    • After discussing the topic, it was agreed that the time the branch remains locked should be reduced at a minimum.
  • RTDv3: https://docs.releng.linuxfoundation.org/projects/global-jjb/en/latest/jjb/lf-rtdv3-jobs.html
  • Cédric Ollivier
    • We don't need any relationship between ODL Jenkins and RTD. The RTD jjb doesn't have any other value than creating the project if it doesn't exist
    • Else RTD can build it after polling gerrit or github merge notifications
    • I would recommend to remove the merge rtd jobs (see ONAP discussions)
